20 Something & Posh in Elle

For their 25th anniversary issue ELLE some of the fiercest 20 something year olds in Hollywood to celebrate with them.  Here are a few of our favorite photo from their birthday spread.  Althought, I would have loved it more if they didn't lighten Gabby's skin. I am also having a hard time find her cover in the stores!

Wicked Wednesday

Tanya:

It is "Wicked Wednesday" again, I had hoped that this week I would be able post an ad that I actually liked, but unfortunately that is not the case. Last week I had planned to write about  another ad; after seeing Bebe Fall 2010 campaign I changed my mind rather quickly.

In original campaign photo the model is sitting on a haystack with her leg spread open only wearing a faux fur coat, boots and some accessories. The ad does not show of the cut of the coat; to me the ad itself has no purpose when it comes to the clothing. I cannot force myself to look at it for more then a few seconds at a time. It is sad to see the model in pigtails giving her a youthful look in a setting that most children would love to play in.  Making her look younger and very sexual at the same time sends the message that these are the two thing women must aspire to be. Time and time again Bebe disappoints me with their campaigns, I pray that they get new creatives and go in a new direction for the next session.

Eye Candy of the Week

Each week we will be posting a male model that we think should get some recognition.

Many view the fashion industry as very much a woman's world, but men, both as models and designers, are obviously just as important. Let's steer away from the wafer thin girls for a second and allow someone with a Y chromosome to take the spotlight.

Our guilty pleasure...

JOSH BEECH

This young guy is not the typical model, and that's why he makes our hearts flutter. Covered in tattoos and piercings, it seems as if he should be making teenage girls weep at concerts instead of the gracing the cover of Vogue Hommes International. Well, our native Brit does both, breaking barriers by combining his rocker edge with high fashion. He's made his look work for Levi's, Paul & Joe and Hudson Jeans print ads and walking the runway at fashion week.
