Gorgeous Aishwarya

Aishwarya Ria is on the cover of this month's Vogue India. It is strange that most of Americans do not know who she is.  Before I ever watched Devdas or Bride & Prejudice, I always knew her as Miss Universe.  Her beauty has captivated the world for years; if that didn't win them over her pose and elegance will. In the photo spread she so easily blends the lines of elegance and sexiness. My favorite photo of the shoot is the one where she is wearing the red satin-chiffon beaded gown by Jenny Packham.

Cases of the Mondays

See by Chloé
Cost: $495
Available Here

It has been awhile since I have 'The Cases of the Mondays'! Today, I went to work and had the urge to go buy a bag, of course they don't pay me enough to actually afford to.  While looking at my dream bags, I am across this beauty on The Purse Blog.  It is all about the satchels! Lately, an obsession with satchels and large messenger bags has started to take me over. The fact that you can fit so much in it and it can still hold more, is amazing! If, you are anything like me I can the most pointless things in my bag, as well as book. The simple point is that this bag may not be the most interesting looking, yet I love it.

Kristen Stewart Neon Clothes

Kristen Stewart is on the February 2011 cover of Vogue Magazine. I'm not the biggest fan of Kristen Stewart's acting, but I do find her to be pretty and intelligent (not on camera interview). I love the clothes that they put her in and the colors, the neon yellow and blue look amazing on her.

However, I do not like the make-up they had her wear. The eyebrows are too dark and in some of the photos the lip color was not really doing anything for her. In all honesty the make-up at times make her look older.

Ode to Jeffrey Campbell

I may or may not have a huge obsession with all of Jeffrey Campbell's shoes. It is not healty for a recent graduate to have a love for all of these amazing shoes! I have made it a goal for myself that once I get a decent paying job I will buy myself one or two pair of Jeffrey Campbell's great pieces of art. Here are just a few of my favorite pair.

Tuesday Shoesday!

Tanya:

I'm back from my small hiatus and ready to talk fashion. So much has happened since my last post and I promise not to disappoint.

Sam Edelman's Sawyer Oxford
Cost: $123.00
Avalible Here

My favorite type of shoes for the past year has been oxford. They are classic and go with almost any outfit. These Sam Edelman's Sawyer Oxfords are a good mix of oxford and heel.  Taylor Swift owns a pair in brown and black and they also come in grey.  They are on the pricey side, but a little secret I saw them at T.J. Maxx the other day fro $60, if you get lucky you may be able to find a pair in your size. I on  the other had was trying to squeeze my 7 size foot into a size 6, needless to say it didn't workout.

Wicked Wednesday

When I drive down Hollywood Blvd and many other stress of Los Angeles everyday and see plenty of billboard ads for all sorts of products. They can range from bad D-List films, designers watches to alcoholic products etc.

Many of the fashion billboards can be a little risky, the models showing too much skin, to greased up and in uncalled for poses. However, there has never been any billboard that has that has offended me more then every signal Skyy Vodka ad out there.

Being stuck in traffic and having to a huge billboard in front of you of a woman's legs in between a Skyy Vodka bottle, is not what I want to see on my way to work or home. This ad does not tempt me to go the store and buy of bottle of Skyy Vodka, so I too can feel like an objectified sex vixen. What I do instead is go home and rant to my roommates about them and tell all of my friends how uncomfortable they make me. This might be the wrong thing to do, the advertisers behind the ad campaign might want us to do just that, spread the word. But what else can I do, I have to look at them every day and as much as I try to ignore them I can't.

Now, I understand that Skyy Vodka is simply trying to attract the younger male audience, but there are other ways of doing it. As time goes by and new Skyy Vodka ads replace the old, the innuendos become more obscene.

I hate these ads with a passion and feel that the creators of them need to read "Can't Buy Me Love" by Jean Kilbourne. I also hope that women were not a part of the creation of the ad campaign, if there were they should be ashamed of themselves.

My Sick Day Kit

All last night and today I have been sick in bed; all because of a bad pumpkin spice latte.

There are a few things that I need when I am sick to make everything a little bit more bearable.

1. Good Pj's

Something along these JC/DC South Park pj's that Katy Perry is sporting would be perfect. The champagne might not be the best thing for you, but if it makes you happy.

2. My Mamí Soup

Nothing makes me feel better then have my mom's soup when I am feeling off. Of course, now that I do not live with her I have to make my own. It is not the same, but close.

3. Pomegranate

Full of antioxidant and vitamins; which is extremely good for you. Plus, the pomegranate arils are fun to eat or throw at people if you are bored.

4. ICE CREAM

5. A Good Book and Movie

In my case for this sick day was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and any good movie would do, usually it is Pride and Prejudices
